Healing little hearts in The Philippines: Cebu
Gift of Life International receives more requests for help from parents of children with heart disease in The Philippines than in any other country around the world. In our effort to respond to the tremendous need, we have partnered with the Rotary Club of Cebu to provide reliable and sustainable care to children of the region surrounding Cebu. Over the past four years, more than 360 Filipino children from this region have been treated for their heart ailments. We have been fortunate to access Rotary Global Grants to help fund the care of these children as well as generous donations from The HeartGift Foundation.
The child featured here is the 44,000th child to be treated by Gift of Life International.
