Rufaro is from Zimbabwe and received her heart healing surgery during our visit there in July of 2025. When we returned to Zimbabwe in April of this year, Rufaro’s mother wanted to say thank you.
Thanks to Dr. Hesham Shawky and the Egyptian team, our global network of partners, HeartGift, and supporters like you, Rufaro was able to go back to school, get back into sports, and live the life of a normal child.
