Healing little hearts in Guyana
Guyana is one of our most exciting stories of 2023. The Government of Guyana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Gift of Life International to conduct 2 training visits. These visits will be completely funded by the Government of Guyana. This is our first partnership with a Government which has invested so completely in the development of a sustainable pediatric cardiac program. The first training visit in March 2023 was successful in providing open-heart surgery to 8 children while providing skills transfer to the local team. We look forward to our second visit of 2023 in December to heal more little Guyanese hearts.
